What is leadership Jacksonville-Onslow?

Leadership Jacksonville.Onslow is designed to create a corps of informed and dedicated emerging leaders qualified to lead Jacksonville and Onslow County throughout the 21st Century.

The program will inform, challenge and otherwise educate the participants on the opportunities and needs of the community as well as the dynamics of social and economic changes.  Training will be provided for the leadership skills necessary for volunteer community leadership positions.  It will encourage the development of interpersonal relationships among the participants which will provide a common ground for working together on community projects.  The program will further identify organizational and individual opportunities for community involvement and will encourage continued participation in these activities.  In cooperation with Coastal Carolina Community College ’s Small Business Center , the program will kick-off with a leadership and team-building seminar and provide additional training seminars throughout the course.

The class will conduct ACCRA cost of living surveys during the program year.
