UNCW extension program will sponsor a monthly social (dinner) at CCC
for all UNCW students, to support military-affiliated students and
to enable the non-military affiliated students to show their support
(children will be invited to attend with their parents).
We’ll start with a potluck the first month then purchase
pizza for them the second month and go from there.
Our initial and primary purpose will be to offer a networking
opportunity for our military dependents.
We want to give these students the resources they will need
to continue their education while their regular support systems
(e.g., spouses) are deployed.

This is a pilot program that is available for
military families when they can not use their regularly scheduled
care due to unexpected duty requirements, extended duty hours,
