August 18, 2010 Onslow County Public Safety Awards Ceremony	The Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce takes pleasure in announcing the first Onslow County Public Safety Awards Ceremony.      The goal of the ceremony is to formally recognize a deserving public safety professional from the fields of law enforcement, fire fighting, emergency medical services and emergency communications, who, through the exemplary conduct of their duties, have best served the citizens of Onslow County, its municipalities, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, during the past year.     The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, August 18th, 2010 at 10:00am at the Jacksonville City Hall. Lt. Governor Walter Dalton has been invited to present the awards and deliver a special message.     Please join us to celebrate and inform the community about the accomplishments of its dedicated public safety professionals.
