Crime Prevention Seminar for Fast Food Restaurants

The Jacksonville Police Department and the Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Crime Prevention Info Session for Fast Food Restaurants.

A number of armed robberies have taken place in Greenville and other eastern NC cities at fast food establishments over the last few weeks.  This session will provide crime prevention tips to Jacksonville fast food businesses.

The info session will take place on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce, 1099 Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville at 9:30 AM.

Forum Onslow: Town Hall Meeting by Speaker Thom Tillis

The Jacksonville Onslow Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee requests the honor of your presence at their Forum Onslow: Town Hall Meeting by Speaker Thom Tillis on Thursday, February 9, 2012 starting at 5:00pm at the City Council Chambers at Jacksonville City Hall. The Speaker will give a very brief opening, mainly highlighting the accomplishments of the 2011 short session.He will then open the meeting for questions.

17th Annual State of the Community Breakfast

This annual event will begin at 8:00am at First Baptist Church at 1985 Gum Branch Road in Jacksonville. It is sponsored by Jones/Onslow EMC will begin with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and the program at 8:30 a.m.

This is an excellent opportunity for business professionals at any level to learn about the “State” of our community. Attendees will receive an analysis of local conditions and growth from several community leaders. Reservations are required.

The Breakfast is $13 for Chamber members and $18 for nonmembers.
